An exercise physiologist can provide valuable assistance in various ways:

Accredited Exercise Physiologists (AEPs) are allied health professionals with a university degree, undergoing at least 4 – 5 years of education and meeting strict criteria for accreditation by Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA). They complete a minimum of 500 hours of work experience. AEPs specialize in exercise and develop clinical programs for treating and preventing chronic injuries and conditions.

In contrast, Personal Trainers are trained to work with generally healthy individuals. They can become qualified through an 8-week course.

On your first visit, you’ll be warmly welcomed by Wally, our doorman dog. We’ll give you a tour of the clinic and discuss your health goals. Your exercise physiologist will review your medical history and conduct relevant movement assessments. From there, we discuss a plan to achieve your health objectives.

You’ll receive 1-3 key movements to practice before your second appointment, where we’ll start your personalized exercise program.

You can start your journey to improved health with us without requiring a referral.

However, if you’re interested in accessing DVA or Medicare rebated sessions, you have the option to obtain a GP referral.

If you have any relevant medical reports or findings, it’s a good idea to bring them along. Additionally, if you have a referral from your doctor, please bring that as well.

Feel free to wear comfortable attire that allows easy movement, and choose footwear that covers your toes for safety.

Certainly! We provide ample off-street car parking spaces for your convenience. Our facility is thoughtfully designed to offer accessible street-level parking. Your safety and comfort are important to us, and we strive to create a secure and welcoming environment for all visitors.

Absolutely, we have the capacity to welcome new NDIS and My Aged Care clients. Our services cover a range of options including in-clinic sessions, hydrotherapy, and in-home visits, offering you flexibility and convenience. We are dedicated to delivering the highest quality and standard as NDIS providers and collaborate closely with your support coordinators. We do offer opportunities for university placement students throughout the year. We believe it’s important for upcoming Allied Health Professionals to enhance their understanding, learn, and gain hands-on experience in their chosen field.
