Meet our Exercise Physiologists

Erica started EP Clinic Noosa in 2019, with a goal to create a unique exercise physiology practice incorporating animal assisted exercise. Her innovative approach to support her clients achieve their goals and move well, has allowed her to grow her team of Exercise Physiologists and in turn expand her ability to help more people in the local Noosa and broader community.

Since completing her Bachelor of Human Movement (1997) and Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology (Rehabilitation) in 2016, Erica has worked with many health conditions and developed extensive experience and skills to assist people overcome and manage their health conditions and injuries. Her speciality is finding the root cause of movement dysfunctions and rebuilding efficient movement patterns, moving away from pain. She has recently taken this passion to the next level, combining her clinical knowledge with movement specific screening for golfers!

Erica is currently trying to improve her technical golf game, and enjoys walking her dog Wally (team member), hot yoga and spending time with her family.

Jarod is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist with over 2 years of experience in the field. He holds a Bachelor of Exercise Physiology from the University of the Sunshine Coast (UniSC) and is accredited by Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA) as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AES AEP ESSAM).
Jarod has worked extensively with individuals with neurological conditions, including Stroke, Parkinson’s disease, Cerebral Palsy, and other movement disorders. He has developed specialized exercise programs that target balance, coordination, and strength to improve mobility and reduce the risk of falls. In addition, he has worked with clients with chronic health conditions to develop exercise programs that support their overall health and well-being so they can achieve their goals.

Jarod also supervises students on placement and is passionate about mentoring the next generation of Exercise Physiologists.

In his free time, Jarod enjoys camping, beach volleyball and country music festivals!

Olivia is a newly graduated exercise physiologist with a passion for helping individuals achieve their health and wellness goals. She recently completed her Bachelor of Exercise Physiology at University of the Sunshine Coast (UniSC) and has obtained facilitator certification to run lifestyle programs.

Olivia has experience working with a variety of populations, including athletes, seniors, and individuals with chronic health conditions. She has a particular interest in using exercise to improve cardiovascular health, manage diabetes, and prevent falls in seniors. In addition, Olivia has experience running group exercise classes and facilitating lifestyle programs that incorporate healthy eating habits, stress reduction techniques, behaviour change strategies and other lifestyle modifications to optimise health and well-being.

Olivia is passionate about continuing education and staying up to date with the latest research and techniques in exercise physiology. She is excited to bring her knowledge and enthusiasm to her clients and is committed to helping them achieve their full potential.

In her free time, Olivia enjoys staying strong and beach camping. She believes that physical activity is a vital component of a healthy lifestyle and is dedicated to promoting physical activity as a means of improving health and well-being for individuals of all ages and abilities.

Wally, the esteemed therapy dog at EP Clinic Noosa, embarked on his journey five years ago as an adorable 8-week-old puppy. Over time, Wally has evolved into a dedicated full-time team member, contributing his invaluable skills and endearing personality to our clinic. Fondly known as “the boss” among our regular clients, Wally’s strong bond with people has been unwavering since his very first day.

A true professional, Wally greets each visitor with a single bark, announcing their arrival and setting a welcoming tone. His presence is a source of energy and comfort; he can uplift spirits or offer a soothing companionship, tailoring his approach to individual needs. Whether you’re seeking an active session or a quiet moment, Wally intuitively adapts to provide the support you require.

Wally’s expertise extends to working with a diverse range of health conditions, showcasing his innate ability to guide clients in achieving effective and fulfilling exercise routines. Many of our clients find joy and motivation in having Wally participate in their sessions, a testament to his exceptional connection with people.

In his leisure time, Wally is all about fun and adventure. He delights in lively romps at the park, engaging in self-directed exercise through spirited runs, exploring the world of scents hidden in bushes, and forging heartwarming connections with fellow canine companions, especially those of smaller stature.
