TPI Movement Screening Process
What if you could take your golf game to the next level by simply improving the way you move?
The TPI movement screen is a screening process developed by the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) specifically for golfers. Our TPI certified practitioner Erica Poxleitner, utilizes the TPI movement screen, which is a comprehensive assessment, to evaluate a golfer’s physical capabilities and limitations in relation to their golf swing.
Upon analysing the results of the movement screen, Erica can create a personalised exercise program tailored to the golfer’s specific needs. This program is designed to address any limitations or weaknesses identified during the assessment. By improving movement patterns, swing mechanics, and overall physical performance, the golfer can enhance their performance on the golf course.

Dry Needling May be the answer
Pain can often be a limiting factor for people when it comes to participating in exercise or physical activity, and dry needling can be a useful tool to help manage pain and get people back to doing the things they love.
The technique involves inserting thin needles into knotted muscle fibres, known as trigger points, to stimulate the healing process and relieve pain.
Dry needling can help you in several ways:
- Provide immediate pain relief by releasing tension in the muscles and triggering the body’s natural pain-relieving mechanisms.
- Improve your range of motion by releasing tight muscles that restrict movement and cause stiffness, so you can continue with your exercise program.
- Improve healing by increasing blood flow to the affected area, reducing inflammation, and stimulating the body’s natural healing process.
- Continue with your exercise program without fear of exacerbating your symptoms or causing setbacks in your progress.
Dry needling is not a cure-all solution for pain, but works well in conjunction with other appropriate interventions, for individuals with chronic pain or injuries, who may need additional support to manage their symptoms and maintain an active lifestyle.

Accepted funding at EP Clinic Noosa It’s OK we’ve got your covered!
There are several funding schemes that support exercise physiology services in Australia. Here are some of the main ones:
Medicare is Australia’s national health insurance program. It provides rebates for a range of health services, including exercise physiology, for people with chronic medical conditions and complex care needs. To be eligible for Medicare rebates for exercise physiology services, you need to have a referral from a medical practitioner.
The NDIS provides support to people with disabilities to help them achieve their goals and improve their quality of life. Exercise physiology services may be included in an individual’s NDIS plan, depending on their specific needs and goals.
To access exercise physiology services through My Aged Care, individuals or their carers can contact the My Aged Care contact centre or visit the My Aged Care website to complete an assessment. The assessment will determine the individual’s eligibility and level of funding for exercise physiology services.
If you already have a HCP through My Aged Care, you may be able to use a portion of your funding to access exercise physiology services. The amount of funding available for exercise physiology services will depend on the level of your HCP and your individual needs and goals.
Many private health insurance providers offer rebates or coverage for exercise physiology services. The level of coverage and the conditions covered will vary depending on the specific policy.
The DVA provides support and services to eligible veterans, war widows and widowers, and their families. Members with a White or Gold DVA card can access Exercise physiology services via a GP referral for approved conditions only. Speak to your medical health practitioner today for more information.
In some cases, exercise physiology services may be covered by workers’ compensation insurance if the injury or condition is work-related.
It is important to check with the relevant funding scheme or your healthcare provider to determine your eligibility for funding or rebates for exercise physiology services.
